Requirements for Teacher Licence Application
An in-depth look at the requirements for the Teacher Licence

The introduction of the Teacher Licence through oneGov by the Ministry of Education (MoE) recently has undoubtedly created some questions and concerns amongst the teachers in the Maldives.
We at the oneGov team are here to aid every teacher in the Maldives with their application process.
As such, we’ve put together this comprehensive guide to help you through your application process. This guide contains everything you need to apply for your Teacher License!
Let’s begin with a breakdown of everything you will need to prepare before you apply:

We want to ensure that your application process goes smoothly.
Here are some additional details to keep in mind as you gather your documents for application.
Academic transcripts from international and non-local education institutions:
Must be accredited by the Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA).
Copy must be attested by a practicing lawyer.
Academic transcripts issued by local educational institutions:
Copy must be attested by a practicing lawyer.
Academic transcripts submitted:
Must be in PDF format.
Must not exceed 15 MB of size.
Documents outlining relevant experience in the field:
Copy must be attested by a practicing lawyer.
Police Report application:
Must be through the form designed by the Teacher Registration Board.
Criminal Record application:
Must be through the form designed by the Teacher Registration Board.
Passport-size photo:
Must not be older than 6 (SIX) months.
Taken on a white background.
