How to Switch Profiles on oneGov
Learn how to switch profiles on oneGov

Switching profiles on oneGov allows you to act as a representative for different accounts or apply for services tailored to specific profiles, such as business services.
This feature is particularly beneficial for individuals representing different profiles on oneGov. There are two main reasons why you may need to switch profiles:
Applying for Business Services: If you’re signed in from your personal account, you’ll need to switch to your business profile to apply for a business service. This ensures that only authorized personnel with the necessary privileges can access and apply for business-specific services.
Acting on Behalf of a Delegated Account: If you want to apply for a service on behalf of a delegated account, you’ll need to switch profiles.
The delegation capability of oneGov provides a secure way for designated representatives to carry out actions on the accounts they have been authorized to manage.
Here’s how you can switch profiles on oneGov:
Step 1: Sign In to Your oneGov Account

Make sure you’re signed in to your oneGov account. If you need help, refer to the “How to Sign In to oneGov” guide or video.
Step 2: Locate the ‘Switch Profile’ Button

If you’re trying to access a service on oneGov and it’s not compatible with your current profile, you’ll see a notification. You will also see the option to choose the ‘Switch Profile’ right from the Service Page
Step 3: Select the Desired Profile

Choose your desired profile
Click ‘Switch Profile,’ and a dropdown menu should appear with the profiles available to you. Select the profile you wish to switch to, whether it’s a business profile or another delegated account.

The profile that is currently active
Upon selection, you will be applying as a representative of the selected profile. The service page would now be updated to reflect the switched profile.
