Tradian Begins Phase II UAT Sessions
The session provided attendees with an opportunity to view the work done so far on Phase II of the Tradian platform and gain a deeper understanding of the improvements introduced.
Tradian has begun a series of Phase II User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, bringing together key stakeholders to help refine the next stage of the platform and ensure it continues to support the needs of users involved in airline and trade-related processes.
The first session was held on Sunday, 21 June at the MINDCo Head Office, bringing together representatives from international airlines operating in the Maldives, alongside Cross-Border Regulatory Authorities (CBRAs) involved in airline-related processes. Participating CBRAs included Maldives Airports Company Limited, Civil Aviation Authority of Maldives, and Directorate of Aviation Security Administration.

This session introduced attendees to the current builds of the Airline Registration and Flight Schedules Submission services. These builds were created using information on system requirements collected previously by the CBRAs. Together, these two services are very vital to global aviation.
The session provided attendees with an opportunity to view the work done so far on Phase II of the Tradian platform and gain a deeper understanding of the improvements introduced. It also created a platform for stakeholders to share their experiences, highlight challenges faced in existing processes, and discuss how the system can better support their operational requirements.
User Acceptance Testing plays an important role in ensuring that digital platforms are practical, efficient, and aligned with the workflows of the organisations that will use them. Through these sessions, stakeholders can interact with the system, review implemented features, and provide valuable feedback based on real-world processes.

The discussions focused on identifying operational challenges faced by users and exploring opportunities to improve efficiency, coordination, and information flow between relevant stakeholders. Insights gathered during these engagements will support further refinements to the system as development continues.
While Phase II requirements have already been collected from the relevant CBRAs involved, these UAT sessions provide an opportunity to validate the developments made, test processes from a user perspective, and ensure the platform continues to address practical needs.

The airline services UAT session marks the beginning of a series of engagements taking place throughout the week, with further sessions planned with airlines and CBRAs. These sessions will continue to bring together industry partners and government agencies to strengthen collaboration and support the development of Tradian.
By creating a more connected digital environment for trade-related processes, Tradian aims to simplify interactions between businesses and government agencies, improve coordination, and contribute towards a smoother, more efficient trade ecosystem for the Maldives.
